Synopsis
Together Alone portrays the life of Shura and Ofelya, an elderly couple who lived together in isolation for nearly fifty years in a small house detached from the outside world. The film begins after Ofelya’s death and gradually moves backward through time, where memory, silence, and space merge into a single emotional reality.

Arthur Sahakyan
Arthur Sahakyan was born in 1994 in Karchaghbyur village, Gegharkunik Province, Armenia. He graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema, Faculty of Film, Television and Animation, specializing in Film Directing. Later, he completed his Master’s Degree in Film Studies at the same institute. From 2018 to 2023, he worked as General Director of the Armenian 5th Channel. Since 2023, he has been a member of the Union of Film Professionals of Armenia and director at Bars Media Studio. His works have received several national awards, including the Presidential Youth Award of Armenia, the Golden Apricot IFF Best Debut Award and Anahit Awards recognitions.
