Synopsis
Joseph has decided to die on 20 August, his birthday, and to make it known. Until then, he prepares himself, says goodbye to those around him and in particular to his companion, Marie. But what is Marie preparing for?
Fabien Fischer
Born in Paris on 30 December 1977, Fabien Fischer is a writer-director of documentary films based in Grenoble. With a degree in sociology and documentary filmmaking, his works have been screened at various festivals and on specialist platforms. Co-founder of the production company Les Eaux de Mars and an active member of Cinex, he supports young directors and takes part in collective projects. Since 2019, he has been the programmer for the L'excentrique cinéma festival in Grenoble. At the same time, he is involved in artistic education programs, sharing his expertise in schools, health establishments and prisons, with a strong commitment to collective and participatory projects, particularly with local populations.
