Synopsis

Everyone in the world knows that the artist Marc Chagall was born in Vitebsk. Yet few know that the very same city was the birthplace of the artist Sergei Kukhto. He painted centaurs. Kukhto's centaurs wandered through Belarusian fields, crossed Belarusian rivers, and loved Belarusian women… In 1999, Sergei Kukhto passed away. But his mysterious, beautiful centaurs remained on his canvases.

Galina AdamovichGalina Adamovich

Born in Minsk, Belarusian SSR in 1969, Galina Adamovich graduated from the Documentary Film Department of the Belarusian Academy of Arts in 1994. Since then, she has been working as a filmmaker at the National Film Producer Belarusfilm and various Belarusian TV channels. Almost all her works were awarded at different international festivals. In 2007, her film Zavedenka was named the best national film in the Republic of Belarus. In 2012, she received the Special Prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus "For Spiritual Revival" for cultural and artistic figures. In 2014, she was named "Minsk Woman of the Year." In 2022, she founded the film production studio ADAM.
